Pennies From Staples

Penny sales are starting this Sunday at Staples. Hopefully Staples will add more products to their penny sale in the next few weeks. This sale is sick compared to last year's sale.

There are only 3 penny sales this week.

8-pack #2 pencils - 1 cent each (limit 2)
2-pocket folder - 1 cent each (limit 10)
Staples multipurpose paper (500 sheets) - $4.99 minus $4.98 easy rebate = 1 cent after rebate (limit 2)

Now for the Staples fine print -- pencils and folders must be with a $5 minimum purchase. The sale is good Sunday through Wednesday or while supplies last.

I plan on buying 2 packs of paper, 2 packs of pencils and 10 folders.
OOP (before tax) = $10.10; easy rebate = $9.96

Final cost after rebate for 2 packs of paper, 2 boxes of pencils and 10 folders = 14 cents

The easy rebate is just that...easy. You can fill it out on-line. I have never had any problem with the easy rebates and a check is usually sent within a couple of weeks. It is an actual check (not a credit to be used just at Staples).

There are several $1 deals...glue sticks, photo paper, envelopes, dry erase board, Scotch tape, Rose Art colored pencils, Post-it notes, Westcott scissors, highlighters, pencil box, mini stapler, and Bic ballpoint pins.

Also included in the ad are several 25% off coupons for construction paper, poster board, calculators, sharpies, shredders and other supplies. Book bags are also on sale.

I received an email from Staples today with a $5 off $30 coupon. There is also a $5 off $30 coupon in the Staples flier.

See you at Staples on Sunday.
