Mueller's Pasta is on sale at Food Lion for $1 per box and the egg noodles are $1.59. There is an internet printable coupon here for $1 off...makes for free pasta! You might want to print multiple copies. Just remember, Food Lion has a limit of 10 coupons per item per customer.

I paid 78¢ for everything pictured. Thanks to AC for telling me and her friend Missy for telling her!

Harris Teeter Meal Deal and Krispy Kreme Doughnuts

I went to my favorite Harris Teeter tonight just to get Krispy Kreme doughnuts that are usually marked down to $1.99. It seems that Krispy Kreme will no longer let Harris Teeter mark the doughnuts below $2.99, still a good deal to me so I had to have them.

Mr. Beauty was with me and went to checkout the pork loin meal deal. I have heard that you could go later in the day and get the meat at marked down prices. No pork loin was left but the very nice deli-lady was helping another customer and she said she would substitute meat loaf or lasagna or chicken for the pork. We got meat loaf, mashed potatoes, bread and Coke for $7.99. The potatoes had a $1 off sticker and so did the meat loaf. Yummy! There was also the two loaf cheesy bread for $1. Mr. Beauty also had to have some chicken that was originally $3.99 with $1 off.

We spent just over $15 for everything pictured.

I think I will go have a doughnut!

Simply Amazing Update

Remember the good deal at Harris Teeter on Pillsbury Simply Buttermilk Biscuits I told you about a few days ago? Well...I found a 50¢ Q which makes the biscuits FREE even without the eVIC on-line Qs. That's just simply amazing!!

I made these biscuits this morning. They aren't bad...just not as big as the Grands biscuits.

$1.00 each x 3 = $3
minus 35¢/1 Q doubled = 70¢ x 3 = $2.10

Total for three cans of Pillsbury biscuits = 30¢

"The Good, The Bad And The Ugly"

The Good: Buy 11 select HT items...you pay for 10 and get the 11th one free.
The Bad: I got 10...and only 10. Apparently I can't count to 11.

The Good: Biltmore Salad Dressing and Biltmore Marinade...both free with $1 Qs.
The Bad: These items went fast.

The Good: Coffee Mate Liquid Creamer...free with an IP Q.
The Bad: I got my Friday morning email from Harris Teeter with my eVIC deals...B1G1 Coffee Mate. If I had waited until today to buy Coffee Mate, I could have gotten TWO free.

The Good: Hunt's tomatoes...B2G1 Free ($1.39 each).
The Bad: Darn that eVIC email...Hunt's tomatoes are 79¢ each.

Now for the Ugly: I shopped at Harris Teeter on Thursday...and I was given the SENIOR CITIZEN DISCOUNT! I am NOT a senior citizen...not that I have anything against senior citizens. My mother is one. But I am not a senior citizen. It must be the hair...she must think I have gray hair. My hair is not gray...it is very, very, very light brown OR a very pale blonde. It is NOT gray. Besides that, the overhead lights in that store are really bad. Who am I kidding? My hair IS gray. I guess anyone with gray hair looks like a senior citizen to that 12-year-old cashier.

I'm off to buy hair dye. And I think I'll watch Sesame Street today...maybe I can learn how to count to 11!

Colorful Ziploc Containers At Harris Teeter

I did a few transactions Wednesday at three Harris Teeter stores for the big Super Doubles event. I got everything I went for the first time and I should have stayed home the rest of the time!

My total OOP was $57.55. Before any sales or coupons, my total would have been $275.29.

There was a really good deal on the Ziploc containers, which were put out while I was still at store #1. They were on a back-to-school display with no price but a tearpad of coupons was with them. I had the cashier scan the Ziploc containers and they were $3.49 and B1G1. WOOHOO! I was so excited and the lids are pretty colors which sucked me right in. The coupons with them were $1/2 so for $1.49 you could get two sets. The excitement had me so I didn't even look in my coupon binder to see if I had any coupons in there for them until I got home. That is okay...I had two Qs for $1.50/2 so I had to go back and get more. With the $1.50, two Ziploc containers are 49¢.

There are no pictures of my other great deals but among them I got several of the Electrasol dishwasher detergents, 10 Old Orchard juices, Campbell's soups, Hunt's puddings, Lysol wipes, Manwich, some Glade candles (marked down to $1.88), some Airwick (marked down to $1.99), Quaker oatmeal, mustard, hot sauce, Smuckers waffles (used the Penguin Qs), butter, some TGIF and pepper. And the list goes on.

I may go back to the HT near me for some marked down dish liquid and washing machine detergent. They had buggies full of it...Gain, Tide, All, Palmolive, etc.

Year-End Harris Teeter Deals

After coupons, markdowns and VIC sales, my OOP was $1.56 with 42¢ of that being tax!

This trip was on December 30th. I just wanted to show you that you can still get good deals at Harris Teeter without Super Doubles or Triples. I will be reporting about this week's Super Doubles trip in a few days.

Walmart After Christmas Sales

I know I am sick but I just can't help myself! A friend called and told me Walmart had marked their Christmas stuff down and they had tons. We just had to go. The Saran Wrap and Glad Wrap were 38¢ each after the markdown. I had $1/2 Qs for the Glad Wrap. I also had Qs for the Febreze, Palmolive dish liquid and the Kleenex. I didn't clear the shelves. The dish liquid was $1.24 before Qs, and the Kleenex was 50¢ before Qs.

I just had to have the candy canes...15 of them! The red and white candy canes were 25¢ each and the green one was 62¢. (The green one lights up.) I can't wait till next Christmas to use them.

Total OOP: $20.36

After Christmas Sales

I stopped by Walmart on Monday and their Christmas merchandise was still at 75% off. Since I don't plan on going back to Walmart anytime soon, I went ahead and got a few things. In my opinion, there is not going to be very much left when Walmart decides to up the sale to 90% off. The Christmas cards were $1.25 per box. I guess this means I will be sending Christmas cards next year! The napkins were 37¢ per pack. I also got some red plastic platters for 25¢.

I got some Disney Princess wrapping paper (not pictured) for 75¢ a roll. The wrapping paper will be great to wrap little girl gifts this year, since it doesn't look like Christmas wrapping paper. I was excited about that find...I should have got more rolls.

I went to Target this morning and Target has their Christmas merchandise at 90% off. There isn't very much left, so you better hurry if you want ANYTHING!

The napkins were 20¢ per pack, the ornaments were 40¢ each, and each snowman coffee mug was 39¢.

But I am sooooo excited about this...

This stocking was only $1.30 (originally $13...I would never pay $13!) My son and his family are planning on visiting from Phoenix in March and we will be having Christmas with them then. And my 3-year-old grandson is a HUGE Toy Story fan. I can't wait for the little guy to see this!
